Silk crepe, supple, lighter weight, drapes beautifully. This bolt is a dismantled kimono that has been reassembled into a continuous length for commercial laundering in Japan. Typically there are two 14” wide lengths of 120” length, with a 4” cut in one edge at the middle, formerly made to create a neck fold. Each sleeve panel is approx 48” long. Several binding panels of 7” width are typical. This bolt has not been measured, to keep the price more affordable. I usually can make a jacket or pants from these cuts, or both, depending on size and scale of pattern matching. It’s lovely fabric, wonderful to touch.
